Seen here is Lot 398 from our Vintage & Collectible Toys (Inc. Toy Soldiers) Auction, taking place on Wednesday 16th & Thursday 17th September.

The extremely rare Britains boxed set 132, ‘Types of the British Army’ Presentation set from 1912, is the second largest set offered by Britains until 1953. The wooden box with two lift out trays, has a hinged lid with paper label ‘Types of the British Army, Manufactured by Britains in London’ printed on the top.

Estimated to hammer between £3,000 - £5,000, we expect this piece to do very well on auction day.

Bidding ends tomorrow on Part Two of the Gary Campbell Militaria Collection, 'ULSTER'.

Bidding is already competitive on lot 223, the WW2 War Savings Campaign Bakelite Plaque, 'Salute The Soldier Week' 1944. With a starting price of £80-120, current bids are up at £210.

Lot 224, The WW2 War Savings Campaign Bakelite Plaque, 'Wings For Victory Week', 1943, also has similar, competitive bidding. The original estimate of £80-120 is overshadowed by the current bid of £220.
