A very Happy New Year to all viewing my page.
During weeks of lockdown in 2021 I accepted an invitation from Romney Marsh Wools to get involved with a project to add waistcoats and gilets, ladies and gents, to their quality product range. The images attached are the culmination of our collaboration. Quality garments made from RMW's own wool from their 1000+ strong flock of Romney marsh sheep. A stunning low back on a wedding gown is a real wow factor but quite often difficult to wear. Unsuitable for a bra to be worn and prone to fall forward with no back closure.
A beautiful and effective way to keep the open back effect is to add fabric loops and a shoestring self fabric tie. Tiny crystals embellish the tie ends for a touch of luxury. Stunning! www.mikkib.co.uk

Here's a scenario for you. The bridesmaid gowns have been purchased and fittings done. With a few months to the big day one of your bridesmaid announces she's pregnant. The dress, as originally purchased, just isn't going to fit!. Images show the original dress, and a brilliant adaptation to a maternity version, by adding an asymmetrical panel (extra fabric needed) and a self fabric tie for lacing up the new corset style back to the gown. Result ... One comfortable bridesmaid and one relieved bride :) www.mikkib.co.uk
