The results of the Big Plastic Count 2026 are in. What do they tell us?

🚮 68,000 people monitored all the plastic packaging they disposed of in a week in March. It reveals we bin 1.6 billion items of plastic each week in the UK.

♻️ Only 16% of this packaging waste is recycled into other plastic products.

🍇 The majority of this single-use packaging is used to wrap fruit and vegetables, along with other food & drink.
