Today is World Su***de Prevention Day. 🧡
In an industry where so many people are used to getting on with the job, it can be easy to miss the signs that someone is struggling.
Sometimes, checking in, starting a conversation and taking the time to genuinely listen can make a bigger difference than we realise.
We’re proud to support Ben Automotive Industry Charity and the work they do to provide free, confidential support to people across the automotive industry.
Please take a moment to watch their video and share it. The right message, reaching the right person at the right time, could make all the difference.

Alright mate?
Today is World Su***de Prevention Day. 🧡
In the UK, men are three times more likely to take their own lives than women. And in an industry that is over 80% male, where ‘getting on with it’ is the norm, it’s not always easy to see who’s struggling and support them. .
It can look like…
→ The colleague who seemed fine last week
→ The manager who never complains
→ The technician who always shows up.
Asking someone if they're OK, and really waiting for the answer, can save a life. If they say they’re OK but you’re not sure, ask them again.
Ask. Ask again. Tell them to contact Ben.
Watch our video on this page https://ben.org.uk/how-we-help/for-me/suicide/ and share so we can reach more people. And if you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to Ben today. Our support is free, confidential and always on your side.
