Job Title: Corporate Relations & Facilities Manager
Location: Edenwood Place, Aylesford, Kent
Schedule: Monday to Friday (plus some evenings and weekends as and when required)
Salary: £24K plus bonus scheme
Role Summary: As the Corporate Sales and Events Manager, you will spearhead the management of our co-working space, facilitating corporate bookings, maintaining a thriving corporate membership club and oversee the revenue generation from bar and food sales. You'll also curate networking, learning, and social events for local businesses, driving community engagement and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Lead Generation:
• Execute outbound sales strategies targeting corporate businesses.
• Manage enquiries and follow up on leads promptly.
• Utilise LinkedIn, social media platforms, and direct calling for lead generation.
• Meet daily call targets and follow up on incoming leads efficiently.
• Achieve revenue targets and conversion rates from enquiries.
2. Relationship Building:
• Cultivate relationships with local businesses, neighbouring offices, and social groups to increase group bookings.
• Attend online and offline meetings to understand guest requirements and network effectively, including viewings and tours of the venue to prospective clients.
• Represent the business with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
3. Event Management:
• Coordinate all aspects of events, including quotations/invoicing, bookings, setup, catering, logistics, in addition to being present to coordinate on the day, where required.
• Ensure smooth processing and management of confirmed group bookings and creating detailed event schedules.
• Collaborate with the operations team for seamless event ex*****on.
4. Performance Analysis and Strategy:
• Monitor and report on reservation performance, identifying opportunities for up-selling and guest experience enhancement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted campaigns to boost bookings.
• Analyse data and ROI from various platforms to optimise sales strategies.
• Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches and changes to ensure continued relevance and growth of the corporate business and brand.
• Ensure team members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts.
5. Administrative Duties:
• Manage booking enquiries and leads through our systems (Sonas and Freshworks), ensuring timely responses.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, expenses, and supplier invoices.
• Assist in planning and organising corporate and team events, including venue liaison and catering coordination.
Measurable Targets:
• Achieve monthly revenue targets set against the budget.
• Increase conversion rates from enquiries by X% within the first six months.
• Generate X number of new corporate bookings per month through proactive sales efforts.
• Maintain a customer satisfaction rating of X% through feedback collection and action plans.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Venue Management:
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including Health & safety, Fire Marshall duties, Risk and COSHH assessments and associated staff training, manage building maintenance, car park management and operations, and maintaining accurate records.
• Oversee contracts for security, cleaning, licensing, and maintenance to optimise resources.
• Ensure appropriate insurances are in place.
• Develop and implement policies for smooth venue operations.
• Act as emergency controller and key holder as required.
• General Management:
• Collaborate with the Director to set and manage venue operations budget.
• Identify and address budget overspends promptly.
• To share best practice and to cover for colleagues in periods of absence or busy periods.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in sales, preferably in a hospitality or corporate environment.
• Strong organisational and inbox management skills.
• Adaptability in tone and communication to align with company culture.
• Proven ability in up-selling and gentle, friendly sales approach.
• Self-motivated with the confidence to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with group bookings and hospitality is desirable.
