We have a full time vacancy for an operator for one of our 8x8 low ground pressure machines.

The job will require someone with experience in heavy machinery and timber crane operation. A forestry or agricultural background will be advantageous.

You will be required to work on your own sometimes staying away from home. You must be able to look after your machine and carry out basic maintenance which includes greasing, changing a wheel if you get a puncture, changing a burst pipe. All tools and equipment are supplied.

Our new Volvo FMX 8x6 is out to work this week. We have both 8x6 and 8x8 vehicles to access the hardest to reach timber while being lower ground pressure than a standard CTI road lorry.
We fitted a Riiko body and Kesla crane and done all type approval in house.

Thanks to the lads in our workshop, Konekorjaamo Riikonen Oy and Kesla Oyj we know we have the right tool for the job.

Mechanic/fabricator required

We have an opening for an experienced Mechanic or fabricator in our workshop near Tarbolton, Ayrshire.

The role would involve maintenance and repair of our fleet of agricultural and HGV based forestry equipment. It would also involve welding/fabrication. Some work will be in workshop and some on site so a driving licence is essential.

The ideal candidate would have experience in agricultural, plant or HGV mechanics and have a decent understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.

Hourly or salary pay available and rate is dependent on experience. Service van and phone will be provided. Training and certification available if required.
