Well that’s us all finished until 2nd January!
It’s been a very hard long year for many reasons and couldn’t do it without the great team that we have.
Anthony Dawkins joined us recently and has slotted straight in as part of the gang making a huge difference in many ways!We’ve also started a new office apprentice called Aliza to grow into a key member of the administration side.
We are on standby over Xmas for emergency jobs if required.

Due to continued expansion, we are currently looking for an experienced (preferred but not essential, as full training can be offered) enthusiastic powered access engineer.
We are a family run business that hire a wide range of access equipment whilst looking after customers own equipment.
Who support and care for our employees and encourage development.
The job role will include carrying out service work and repairs, pre delivery inspections, assisting in the workshop, working on customers own equipment as well as our own hire fleet, attending on site breakdowns
and being an all round hardworking part of the team.

Due to continued expansion, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic,willing to work as part of a team, learn from experienced engineers and undergo an NVQ level2 based apprenticeship to become a fully qualified powered access engineer.
Upon successfully completing the apprenticeship, the individual will then be offered further opportunities to progress in the company with benefits of a company vehicle etc.
We are a family run business who support and care for our employees and encourage development.
We are happy to wait for someone who is finishing school this year as the successful candidate will start college October 2023.
The job role will include shadowing and note taking, carrying out service work and repairs, assisting in the workshop and on site, helping with housekeeping of the workplace,
and being an all round enthusiastic, hardworking part of the team.

Hi we are selling our 14T Iveco access platform/plant equipment delivery truck.
Price is £45K plus vat ovno.
Reason for selling is we have upgraded to a bigger truck.
2017 euro6 automatic covered just over 150,000 km (95,000 miles).
Reversing camera, beacons and winch.
Been looked after by iveco with a 7.4T payload ready to work, ready to go immediately.
Mot until end of November.
It will comfortably carry a HR21, 2x diesel scissors, 2x HR12’s, 3x star10’s etc
Great little truck and will be sad to see it go.

Our new lorry is arriving beginning of next week, so before I advertise this lorry for sale, would anyone on here be interested?
2011 Daf 26T fully automatic ex Nationwide Platforms lorry, so a great powered access spec bed.
It has full DAF history and will be going into DAF next week for a 6 weekly inspection.
Everything works as it should and still being used daily, MOT till end of September so ready to work for its new owner.
Flip tow Hyd ramps with middle door to put cage out the back, wireless Ramsey Hyd winch, fors compliant cameras and speakers and extra bed loading working lights and reversing spot lights.
Safety loading restraint straps and platform walk way to fit both sides of the bed for safety stored under the lorry.

JOB VACANCY
Field service/workshop engineer required to join our friendly team here at Poweredupaccess.
The successful candidate will be expected to work well within a family run business and as part of a friendly, hardworking team.
They will be expected to carry out pdi’s, servicing and repairs to our own hire equipment and repairs/refurbishment of customers machines in our work shop based in Bristol.
We also carry out on site breakdowns, repairs and lolers on a large variety of equipment.
A brand new company van and pension will be supplied along with a very competitive salary based on experience.
Hours of work are 8am to 5:30pm but both parties willing to be flexible to meet business and personal needs.

A busy few weeks here at Poweredupaccess.
A few last minute deliveries on the trailer, a track refit on a Hinowa 17m in a very awkward spot tucked behind the building, a new Niftylift HR21 arrived ready for hire, a few unfortunate breakdowns resolved, my Springer having a dip in the sea and many happy customers with great feedback!!
And the sun has been shining 😁

In on a Saturday finishing all the kit required for Monday, lorry and trailer loaded and Truckmount cleaned ready for collecting.
A few delivery’s from this week and some on site repairs carried out with another trip to the zoo to replace a cage rotator, then got collared into replacing a beacon on the customers dumper whilst on site. Time for a day off at home painting 🙄
