It has been another very busy month with another lorry load off Finlay machines being delivered to us. These machines will go through our workshop and receive the highest quality workmanship that our customers have come to expect.

A recent job completed. A Finlay F44 block machine came to our work shop to receive a full rewire with all electrical components replaced and a new control panel was fitted with all Siemens components and PLC. We also replaced all the hydraulic valves and a new agitating feedtray was supplied and fitted. This machine is now back with our customer and back to work.

This is one of two Finlay BSM412 strappers recently rebuilt and rewired by our team at WAL Electrical. This is not just a spray job this machine was fully stripped down with every nut and bolt removed. The frame was professionally shot blasted and painted and had a new cab manufactured in house along with a new strapping head fitted. It has had all new hydraulics including valves,hoses and rams including a new pump and motor. Genset got a full service including timing belt and a new generator. The machine has received a full rewire with a new control panel that comes with our latest software and new touch screen control and on board modem for online diagnostics. The machine was successfully commissioned for the customer on site.

It was a busy few days recently getting two of our customers generators from their Finlay strappers back up and going again. We supplied and fitted two new alternators to each of them and then refitted them back on to their machine.

Another two McGirr MG44,s recently wired and commissioned by our team. These machines feature the latest technology in block making and are renowned as one of the most reliable machines in the industry.

Another Finlay F44 left our workshop recently after receiving a full mechanical rebuild by Brea Block Moulds and then was fully rewired with a new control panel then successfully commissioned for the customer. This machine is fitted with our radio control system for enhanced safety and ease of use for the operator. Also fitted is our data logging system for daily reports on production and efficiency which is automatically sent to the head office. This machine was originally wired by Wal when new and shows the build quality and reliability of our control system as this F44 was still in use before it came for refurbishment.

This Finlay BME F44 left our workshop recently after receiving a full mechanical rebuild complete with new hydraulics and a full rewire with new control panel and our latest software. Mechanical work carried out by Brae Block Moulds. The machine was then recommissioned by us and was left with a very happy customer.
