Quick story from yesterday; Went out for a spin on the bike, headed south along the A1 from Banbridge towards Newry, a number of fancy cars passed ( A Ferrari, couple of Lamborghinis and lots others ) - a bit further along 6 of them were stopped on the hard shoulder, just as I got close they started off ( whoever they'd been waiting on had caught up to them ). The black Lamborghini at the back of the line eased back onto the main carriageway, then out the the fast lane - he just booted it and in zero seconds flat he was gone! And the noise! - you don't get that with your duracell / battery car ! lol. Made my day. It was windy, so 50 miles done was hard going by the time I got home.

2 weeks without a computer - it crashed and it's pretty much buggered! lol. Nephew is sorting me out another one, in the meantime I've borrowed his. ( only so much you can do on a phone - particularly when trying to run a business )
I started a new job a few weeks ago so will be scaling back the woodwork business. I've closed 2 shops this evening ( Etsy and MadeMe ), so just have ebay left. My main sales were spoon and thimble racks - over 600 listings all made to order. I am currently using up the wood that I have to make a selection of racks, then I'll change the ebay listings to what I have in stock and delete the rest - ( that will be within the next 2 weeks, probably less ). A lot of other 'made to order' listings are gone too, still more work to do as currently 1188 listings up!
Big changes all round after over 40 years working from home doing woodwork, to working for a company in an office on computer - but it's been coming for a long time as the business just wasn't paying, I just wasn't willing to admit that and tried to keep it going long after I should have let it go.
Onwards and upwards.
