Construction work on-going on the new multi-million expansion and renovation of St Finian's College. founded in 1802, this listed building will be in development over a 3-year period, and due to its protected status the double glazing on this project will be IMC glass Slim-Glaze range of energy rated glass used within the heritage market. The thermal efficiency benefits of IMC Glass Slim Glaze double glazing can now be even better than standard double glazing, achieving U-values (the term used to measure thermal efficiency) of as low as 1.2 on a 6mm cavity and 1.1 on a 8-cavity, depending on the type of gas fill used in the cavity. This premises is going through a Multi-Million euro refurbishment and to maintain heritage protection the glass being used is our very own product IMC Slim-glaze. former Dunnes Stores site in the centre of Armagh. Thanks to investment from the Armagh City Townscape Heritage project, five properties in the area owned by Drumarg Properties have been given much-needed refurbishment and restoration, which preserve the historical character of the street. IMC Glass has been involved in nearly every property under this scheme providing our heritage double glazing products designed for listed buildings. Work began at the property in May 2023, with 28-30 having previously been the site of Dunnes Stores, which closed in the 1990s and has lain vacant ever since.

Prior to Dunnes, in the 1960’s, the business was a grocery store and was known as ‘The Milestone and ‘Quinn’s the Milestone Bar’ was upstairs and also part of the building. SalterBridge House and Gardens . County Waterford

Units in post-production for this listed 1849 built property along with stables , due to its building status, new double glazing must conform to requirements from the conversation officer. Waterpark College, Waterford

over a 1000 units in post production ready to be glazed into the refurb of this listed building home to Waterpark College. built 1939, on a symmetrical plan retaining original aspect with single-bay three-storey pedimented entrance bay to centre having round-headed door opening to first floor approached by flight of steps, single-bay three-storey side elevations to east and to west, and single-bay three-storey return to north. at the moment i only have elevated spec drawings of the new building but the older building will have our Slim-Glaze double-glazing product which is designed for traditional timber frames. These ultra-thin double glazed units have the latest in thermal efficiency, filled with a specialist gas that isn’t used in standard double glazing and with our high performance warm edge spacer can reduce the heat loss up to 77% as when compared to old standard glazing. for more information please visit www.imcglass.com
