Been really bad at updating this page 😂😂 but he is todays work. Two Stihl machines sorted today. Hedgerrimmer randomly decided not to work and the Chainsaw just wouldn’t start. Full service carried out and replaced old parts with new supplied by the trusted &SEngineers both now running A1! 👍🏻👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

1998 Husqvarna 136 wasn’t running properly when it was bought in.
Gave it a deep clean before carrying out a full service and replaced all the old parts with new ones and now it runs like it did in the 90s. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍🏻👍🏻

Picked this up today Stihl MS181.

Non runner and needs some serious TLC

Good compression
No Spark

Using the time waiting for the new parts to give it some well needed TLC and when the parts arrive, it will be good to go back to work!

As mentioned in previous post. Husqvarna 55 restored to its former glory, after a new piston and cylinder installation as well as all the usual servicing that it required.

Been a bit quiet in the shed for a while now. So it was nice to get a bigger job today, piston ring completely melted into the head due to the Chainsaw overheating! Videos of the repaired Chainsaw coming up.

Saturday evening job

An MS180 that wasn’t running great. Full service done and a nice hand filed chain, it’s good to go back to work.

2 strimmers brought back to working order.

The FS400 was with me a few months ago, if something is not right I have no issues in coming back and addressing the issue. In this case it was brought back and sorted now ready to return and go to work.

All equipment is fully tested prior to returning.

4th Stihl MS170 in the last 7 days!
This doesn’t mean they are a bad chainsaw they are in fact top quality homeowner saws and very popular due to their lightweight but still plenty of power people need around their homes. As with anything if you don’t regularly service and maintain them they will inevitably fail on you at some point. To make sure they don’t and that you keep safe whilst using them. Get someone that is trained to service and carry out maintenance and repairs on them for you. This will ensure that they are in good order and safe for you to use and that they will last you much longer.

Few pictures of the work on this one before it was fully serviced, ready to go back to work.

After an oil line replacement and fresh oil topped up. This is how the oil should come out when your Chainsaw is running all this oil will run along the bar and keep your chain lubricated whilst cutting your wood!

Two MS170 in today both will oil leaks this is how the first one was oiling! This is not sufficient for your bar and chain to get the oil it needs to work safely and efficiently!

If this is happening to you get it checked ASAP!

This mornings work on this Husqvarna 350 not been used for a long time by the looks and sounds of it and the chain was duller than our British summer! It wasn’t running properly and not cutting anything!

So a bit of TLC and a lot of sharpening! It sprung back to life and cut like a 50cc Chainsaw should!

Always a pleasure working on these Chainsaws and saving people a lot of money by putting the work in and not just buying new parts for everything!
