Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the incident at Big Church Festival in West Sussex on Friday afternoon, in which a man lost his life and six others were taken to hospital.

An incident like this is felt far beyond those who were there. By the families waiting at home and by the crews and volunteers who responded in the moment and who will carry it with them.

Our condolences go to the man's family and friends, to everyone injured and to all who witnessed what happened.

Sussex Police are asking anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward on 101, quoting Operation Igloo.

Diwrnod anhygoel yn Maes D! 🎉

Diolch yn fawr i bawb a fu’n rhan o wneud y diwrnod yn llwyddianus. Roedd yn bleser gweithio ochr yn ochr â thîm mor broffesiynol ac ymroddedig drwy gydol y digwyddad.

Dani yn falch ac yn anrhydeddus o fod wedi bod yn rhan o ddigwyddiad, gan helpu i sicrhau bod popeth yn rhedeg yn ddiogel ac yn esmwyth o’r dechrau i’r diwedd.

Diolch arbennig i'n gweithwyr am eu gwaith caled, eu hymroddiad, a’u proffesiynoldeb drwy gydol y dydd. 👏

Rydym yn gwerthfawrogi’r gwaith tîm, yr awyrgylch, a’r gefnogaeth gan bawb oedd ynghlwm — ac edrychwn ymlaen at digwyddiadau eto yn y dyfodol!
