We were delighted to receive these fantastic photos from Robert McGowan at Strides, one of the groups we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming on site.

A few weeks ago, they celebrated their official opening with award-winning local actor James Martin, marking an exciting milestone for the team.

We’re also thrilled to see one of their participants recently begin a work placement at Bow Bells in Ards – exactly the kind of meaningful work experience opportunity that helps build confidence, skills, and brighter futures.

🦆 Production Update

Today’s output included one duck and 11 ducklings.

Despite excellent teamwork and strong communication skills, they struggled with machinery operation and failed their PPE assessment.

Thankfully, the entire team has now been safely relocated to a more suitable environment, where they’ll be looked after by our good friends until they’re ready to spread their wings.

We were proud to have attended the Made in Northern Ireland Awards at Titanic Belfast last night — a fantastic celebration of the very best in engineering and manufacturing across Northern Ireland.

We were honoured to be shortlisted for four awards:

* Engineer of the Year
* Sustainability
* Two Apprentice of the Year categories

While we didn’t bring home a trophy this time, being recognised among so many outstanding businesses and individuals at such a prestigious event is something we’re incredibly proud of.

A brilliant evening, great company, and inspiring to see the strength of innovation and talent within Northern Ireland’s manufacturing and engineering sector. Congratulations to all the winners and finalists.
