The stonework is almost complete and now has the big doorway lintel in place. The piece of stone used to be above someone's fireplace and still has the old wooden plugs in that maybe supported a mantelpiece to stand family photos on 🤷‍♂️

Walls continuing to go up, there are some nice little details on some stones from wherever they were used in their previous life. The cills and lintels have been made from one huge piece of stone, and one particular lintel has had something very special done to it...maybe next update.

Old floor removed, including some quartz rocks and rusty patches from the old blacksmiths workspace, onto the walls next 🙂

Foundations complete, next job is to redo that floor the 21st century way!

2 days in, the dwarf wall has been removed and the flowerbed dug back. Foundations also dug ready for inspection and concrete next week. The foundations on the existing 1850's house are...erm...missing 🤷‍♂️
