Your Office Angel is a pay as you use secretarial/Virtual Assistant service which is primarily aimed at the small business and independent tradesperson, to offer an additional pair of hands as and when you need it. I operate on a sub-contract basis for secretarial services, offering a variety of services for your business from copy and audio typing, invoicing and credit control, promotional materi

al, and the design of forms and systems to help streamline your business and make life easier for you. I work hours to suit demand, and can vary these from day to day, week to week as needed. I often continue working throughout the evening as it is a good productive time for me, so if you have urgent need of assistance and drop something off with me after work, I can work on it the same evening if it needs immediate attention.

Good evening, I hope everyone is keeping well. I haven't had much to share on here over the past year. Understandably, business has been very quiet, and I ended up taking on a part time admin role for a local company, which I am continuing with.

I have kept in touch with my previous clients, who are starting to get back to some form of normality, but not at previous levels, although I am still doing a few hours here and there for them.

I got a lovely surprise phonemail from another previous client who is looking for some urgent help on a temporary basis too, so I am assessing my time and seeing how I can help everyone at the moment.

Keep in touch, and I will help you where I can, or put you in touch with others who may be able to.

WORK UPDATE AND AVAILABILITY
-----------------------------------
Hi everyone,

Since the lockdown its been very quiet business wise, with companies closing down and people working from home. My usual clients have had to make changes and therefore it has not been possible for me to see them đŸĨē (I miss you guys!).

Instead, I have been spending some time looking into diversification options for a property, which will hopefully secure our future and allow myself and my partner a different type of future work/life balance, but I have also taken the decision to take part-time employment, so I am currently in my second week, working mornings, for a company who I have had a relationship with since 2002 in various companies I have worked for!

Working mornings only leaves me time to accommodate work for my existing clients, and other bits and pieces, plus going forward will allow time for our diversification projects. At the moment however, its also means that I cannot take on any larger or regular needs contracts.

I hope everyone is keeping well, and I will try to help out where I can, if not, I may be able to put you in contact with someone who can help, so do keep in touch.

Stay safe,
Nicola

Some good news for the self employed whose workload/income has been affected by the Covid-19 crisis. The government grant scheme has been extended, and you can claim again in August if still affected.

"The Chancellor has announced the scheme has now been extended for those individuals whose trade continues to be, or is newly, adversely affected by COVID-19. Eligible people will be able to claim in August".

The government is committed to doing whatever it takes to support businesses and individuals through the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
