Just a quick post to let you know that after some research and to put my prices more in line with other domestic cleaners in the area ,i've put my prices up slightly to £17 an hour , making a 3 hour clean £51 and a 2 hour clean £31 .
This came into effect from 1st March 2026.
My cancellation and payment policies are still in effect and will be looked at on an individual basis due to circumstances and I will continue to be reliable, trustworthy and hard working for you at every clean .

PAYMENT POLICY

Recently I have found myself in the awkward position of having to chase payment for cleans on a regular basis , so am asking moving forward that customers ensure all payments are made on the day of the clean ,either by bank transfer or cash, whichever way is best for you as the customer.
As a small business it is important payments are received on time .

CANCELLATION POLICY

Unfortunately, recently I have had numerous last minute cancellations for reasons other than illness ,which leaves me loosing money, so I have had to add a cancellation policy moving forwards as I cannot sustain this level of loss as a small business .

I respectfully ask that if you cancel less than 24 hours before a clean is due or if I arrive at your property and cannot enter due to no key being left or nobody to let me in, then a charge will be made (this will be looked at on an individual basis) as I cannot fill the slot at such short notice and will be left loosing earnings. If you have a fortnightly slot please ensure you know when it's your week for me to come as my reminder text the evening before is too late for a cancellation.
If you have a holiday, workmen in or time off booked which means I cannot clean for you on the alloted day , or require a clean to be moved please let me know, at the latest a week in advance ,but preferably when you make the booking so I can organise a replacement clean for that slot so I don't loose earnings.

It's a while since I've updated my page as I've been busy with my new hours and regular customers. However the last couple of weeks have seen a change to my routine and I've advertised a couple of new cleans which has meant more activity on the page.
I thought I'd introduce myself and say hi ! I'm Claire, I live in salterforth with my husband and 2 daughters and have a son at uni in Hull studying Forensic science. I got into cleaning whilst my children were young as I could set my own hours and come home to walk our cockapoo Jeff in the afternoon. I love my job and have some amazing regular customers,most of whom have been with me for years now. I have asked them to leave some more updated reviews on the page so you can see what they think of my work .
My prices have just had an increase to bring me in line with other domestic cleaners in the area and are £30 for 2 hours and £45 for 3 hours . I provide all products and am happy to travel in the Barlic,Earby, Foulridge, Thornton, Kelbrook area .
