Utility Source is proud to support grassroots sport and community organisations across South Yorkshire.

In this video, Young Owls manager Ian and Utility Source director Dean Pattison discuss the importance of grassroots football, volunteering and community sponsorship.

Dean is currently in his third season coaching with Young Owls U15s and has spent the last nine seasons involved in grassroots football coaching.

Alongside supporting Young Owls through sponsorship of kits and equipment, Utility Source also supports SV Dance Studios and Wath Cricket Club. The cricket club is also home to our property networking events, helping support a valued local venue while bringing together property developers, investors and businesses from across the region.

Grassroots organisations create opportunities, confidence, friendships and stronger communities, but they rely heavily on volunteers, fundraising and local sponsorship to continue.

Project update: From bungalow to bespoke living 🏡➡️✨

We are proud to have been a part of this project as utilities consultants on behalf of Prestige Building Services for these luxury apartments in the sought-after suburb of Dore, Sheffield.

An insight into our role:

We kicked things off with full utility disconnections to enable safe demolition, before reconfiguring services to support the build. Gas permanently disconnected, with water and electric altered to provide temporary supplies for site welfare.

Fast forward to installation phase:

⚡️ 3-phase and single-phase electric supplies distributed via a basement plantroom
💧 63mm water supply feeding an internal manifold for all 10 apartments, each individually metered
🌐 Gigabit-capable fibre installed throughout for future-ready connectivity

Precision, coordination, and future-focused infrastructure at every stage.
