Recently saw this post on LinkedIn and just wanted to share as this is a fantastic example of how a happy and engaged employee benefits a company, in this case KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and enhances the customer experience simply because they love doing what they do and naturally are happy to go the extra mile.

Simply taking surveys, almost just for the sake of taking surveys, can impact negatively on staff. The secret is to use them in line with a structured programme to identify the issues via the survey, but then to put in place a programme that will re evaluate the company goals, culture and behaviour.

Better businesses look after the welfare and well being of their staff and the survey should merely be the starting point to identify the key issues.

It is surely then up to the company to take steps within it with the collaboration of staff members to drive forward meaningful results which is what the Engage & Grow programme is specifically designed to do.
