The Glass Works Bright Nights is back!

Get ready for two magical evenings as Barnsley Bright Nights returns on 20-21 November, bringing spectacular light installations, live performances and plenty of festive atmosphere to the town centre.

At The Glass Works Square, you can experience The Twelve Days of Christmas, a larger-than-life projection installation inspired by the much loved festive carol.

Expect giant gift boxes, colourful projections and plenty of Christmas surprises along the way.

You'll also spot colourful pop-up performances from Global Grooves and local community groups bringing the square to life throughout the evening.

More highlights from the NABMA Annual Conference in Harrogate.

We were delighted to hear from NMTF Non-Executive Director, Peter Gott, who shared fascinating insights from more than 50 years of experience across the food, retail and markets sectors.

Peter took delegates on a journey through his career, from his early experiences working at Borough Market to his international ventures, sharing stories and experiences gathered along the way.

He also reflected on his meetings and work alongside some of the UK's most recognised culinary figures, including His Majesty King Charles, as well as leading chefs, broadcasters and food writers.

A fascinating and insightful presentation, offering delegates a unique perspective on the evolution of food, retail and markets over the past five decades.
