Has the Hot Weather Revealed Anything Strange Around Your Home?
In the office we’ve been talking about how the very hot weather has been affecting local properties, and it got us wondering whether anyone has noticed anything unusual or unexpected around their home or garden during this heatwave.

Sometimes extreme heat reveals things you wouldn’t normally spot, or causes odd little changes that make you look twice.

A few examples of what we mean:

Ground drying out and showing cracks, dips or old features you didn’t know were there

Bitumen or felt on flat roofs softening, blistering or becoming tacky

Timber shrinking in sheds, lofts or older cottages

Doors suddenly sticking or not closing properly as frames expand
