Been busy in my art-studio today - just printed this.

I actually cut this piece with my mum (the late Heinke Jenkins - Professional Lino-Artist) back in 2023 before she died.

Back then, it was a training exercise to remind me how to cut Lino. It’s now been over year since she passed away and I thought it appropriate to print it on her press to honour that first anniversary.

At the time, she was amazed how adept I was at Lino-Cutting, particularly as I hadn’t done any Lino work since my A-Levels.

I certainly felt her encouraging presence whilst I printed it.

I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed cutting and printing it!

Remarkable very last Lino Print by my very talented professional artist, mum - Heinke Jenkins, right before she passed away. This piece is profoundly titled, ’Hello-Goodbye’.
Very poignant!

The more I look at this, AND her whole portfolio spanning over 60-years the more I see of her absolute genius.

In the last few years, a new phenomena in work, rest and play has been trending over the world by the Digital nomad.

Many Cafés in exotic locations may have a coffee sipping entrepreneur or two connected to the world of on line work through a laptop and smart phone. So much so that we all probably know someone, or a friend of a friend doing this right now.

Chatting to Sarah the other day, while she was in a cafe in Northern Tenerife, she said, ‘there seems to be a shift for a lot of people in the last few years leaving the corporate world and feeling stuck in a rut.

For many people this has meant a yearning for some sort of reinvention - particularly around the mid-life point. Others seek a new purpose, a different mission for their lives, and to make a difference.’

Also, the pandemic has been a game changer for this mindset revolution too. The media call it, ‘The Great Resignation’ and has resulted in many more people drawn to experimenting with a Digital Nomad experience.

Maybe you too feel the same as Sarah, or not(!) Either way, I bet you are curious to want to know more? I know I am! 🧐 🤔

Admittedly much of this can be sent on line. But REALLY… we do love a hard copy, particularly birthday cards right?

We certainly have a strong emotional connection with the touch, feel and even smell of print. But could receiving actual letters through the post actually be more sustainable too 🤔?

What’s easier to read - an electronic communication or a hard copy? How many of print something off to read it it properly - I know I do?

Im so proud of what Leaders Live has achieved in the last 12-months.

Let me explain…

In May 2021, I kickstarted a brand new weekly live stream Businesses chat show - Leaders Live.

The idea was - Leaders Live would feature extraordinary conversations about Business and high performance subjects to boost success and build better Business success for Business owners, Managers, CEOs and Entrepreneurs.

We promote inclusivity and diversity.

Back in the first months of 2021 we were finding our feet with the first few events emerging as rough and ready with only a small audience.

Gradually week by week, month by month allowed us to learn more and more to master our craft and to deserve the right to gain in: interest, traction, quality and numbers.

The purpose and passion as to ‘THE WHY’ with Leaders Live is that It all starts with the idea and passion that:

You are more than you think!

Leaders Live is about building community of like minded folks who want to be extraordinary.

And this is particularly relevant to building back better businesses following the last 2 years of pandemic.

The Motto here is ‘I to the power of we’ 😎

And through these simple ideas we aim to make a difference together to peoples’ Business lives, AND make the world better too folks.

Leaders Live aims to bring a spirit of freedom, joy and fun through a feel good factor in all of our working lives.

Not only that, but we are building an extraordinary community of likeminded interesting and amazing people - all with stories to tell of their own business endeavours, passions and interests. And like a rising tide we all benefit.

What’s more, Berdine Hugo has joined the team as our moderator and she keeps the engagement, the audience and me going as host interviewing our interesting and awesome guests. We also have recently appointed a Board we are accountable to.

We roll every Tuesday at 0845 uk 🇬🇧 time And next Tuesday will be the 49th Leaders Live event.

Today we even have groovy Hoodies and T-Shirt Merch.

I am so excited and looking back, it’s amazing what you can achieve if you put your mind to something and have the drive to achieve something extraordinary.

Thank you to all of you who have supported Leaders Live to establish such an awesome community of likeminded folks. 👍🏽👍🏽🙌🏽👏🏼
