🚨 Water Rescue Training 🚨

Our Community Safety Team recently took part in specialist throwline training alongside Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service 🌊🚒

The session gave our CST the opportunity to learn vital water rescue techniques, including how to safely deploy a throwline to assist someone in difficulty in the water. With so many riverside and waterfront areas across our patrol locations, this training provides another valuable skill to help keep our communities safe.

A huge thank you to the team at Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service for sharing their expertise, guidance, and hands-on experience throughout the morning 👏

Continuous training and partnership working are key to ensuring our teams are prepared to respond effectively when needed.

🎄 Barnstaple Christmas Light Switch-On: A True Gardant Family Affair! 🎄

Gardant Support Services provide Security Services and are part of the Gardant Group — a team we often refer to as the Gardant family. But this year at the Barnstaple Christmas light switch-on, we really proved it… with four actual parent–child teams working side by side!

This past weekend, Gardant Support Services was proud to deliver Security & Crowd Safety for the 25th anniversary of Gold Coast Oceanfest – a landmark event on the North Devon calendar.

This marks our 5th consecutive year supporting , and we’re thrilled to continue playing a key role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of attendees, staff, and performers alike.
