This customer had no idea what was hiding beneath the ceramic tiles in her hallway. After some careful consideration, she decided to take the plunge and see what was underneath…

What we uncovered was a stunning original Victorian geometric floor — and remarkably, not a single tile was missing! 🙌

Years of being hidden beneath modern tiles had left the floor covered in old adhesive and dirt, but after a deep clean, strip, seal and polish, we’ve brought it back to its former glory. 🖤🤍

It’s always amazing to reveal a piece of history that’s been hidden away for decades. You never really know what’s underneath until you take a look. Sometimes the best treasures are right beneath your feet.

✨ Another stunning limestone floor brought back to life ✨

This beautiful natural limestone floor had lost its lustre over time and needed some specialist attention.

Before any restoration work began, we carefully masked and protected the entire kitchen, ensuring the brand-new cabinetry and worktops remained completely safeguarded throughout the process.

Our restoration process included:

This one is hands down one of my favourite Victorian floor restorations I’ve done in a very long time.

When I started uncovering the history behind it, I found out the house originally belonged to the builder himself — and it honestly looks like he used every leftover tile he had to create this completely unique masterpiece. No two sections are the same, and that’s what makes it so special. A true one-of-one floor that you’ll never see replicated anywhere else.

The customer asked for a high sheen finish, so we went all in with our specialist oils to really bring the colours to life… and wow, did they pop. The depth, warmth and character in this floor now is unbelievable.

Floors like this are exactly why I love what I do.
