Another scheme ending because Tesco now take them. I just hope they are actually recycling them. I can no longer take sweet wrappers I’m afraid

New scheme added which can include baby bottles minus teats and plastic takeaway pots 😊♻️

Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that collects packaging for me to recycle with terracycle. I have just redeemed another £130 for Essex Air Ambulance.
Raising money for a great cause and helping to save the planet at the same time 😊♻️

As the personal care scheme is closing ti thought I’d do a little post to clarify what will and won’t be accepted moving forward.
If you have been collecting up to now please make sure anything for garnier scheme is dropped to me by Tuesday 17th Janusry.
After this date the info in the images below swl apply.

Sad to say that the garnier scheme is coming to an end this month. If you have any collected and ready to drop off to me, please contact me asap to arrange this as I will be sending the final box in a couple of weeks

The big plastic count starts today!

It’s a nationwide survey of single use plastics used in one week, set up by greenpeace to show the government that recycling isn’t the answer to the problem.

Search it up online. It’s easy to sign up and keep a tally of household plastic waste for a week. Then just submit your numbers at the end of the week 😊
