🏡☀️ New build project underway in TN6! ⚡🔋

Yesterday we started work on THREE new build homes, getting them ready for their future owners with solar and battery storage.

Two of the properties will each have:

✅ 6 solar panels
✅ Solis 5 kW hybrid inverter
✅ Solis 5 kWh battery storage

The third property will have a battery and inverter installation only. 🔋

We’ll be returning in around 16 weeks, once the mains electricity supplies are connected, to finalise the installations and commission the systems. 👷‍♂️⚡

It’s great to get involved during the build and help make energy technology part of these homes from the start! 🏡💚

☀️ Another installation completed on Monday in South East London, SE9! 🔋⚡

Making the most of every available roof space, we installed 17 × 485W AIKO panels across THREE pitched roofs and a flat roof, facing FOUR different orientations to capture generation throughout the day! 🏡☀️

This system includes:

✅ 8.245 kWp of solar panels
✅ Fox ESS 10.5 kW hybrid inverter
✅ 7x Fox ESS CQ7 battery modules
✅ Fox EPS whole-home backup
✅ Fox EV charger 🚗⚡

The inverter and batteries are neatly installed in the detached garage, with PV Ultra cable running from all four roofs back to the garage. Getting the AC cable into the centre of the house took some working out, but the team got it done! 💪

📊 The predicted annual figures:

☀️ Solar generation: 6,085 kWh
🏠 Current electricity consumption: 7,000 kWh
💷 Current annual bill: £1,936
🙌 Estimated annual bill with the system: £50 IN CREDIT
💰 Estimated annual saving: approximately £1,987!

☀️ Another installation completed today in Margate, CT9 — and a happy customer! 🔋

Sometimes a job throws up an unexpected challenge. What matters is how you put it right. 💪

This installation was originally designed with eight 490W AIKO panels on the front southeast-facing roof, with estimated annual generation of 3,881 kWh.

When our team arrived yesterday, we established that the roof could accommodate only six panels. Understandably, the customer was disappointed, so we worked out a solution.

✅ Additional scaffolding to the rear, at our cost
✅ One extra solar panel supplied free of charge
✅ Six panels on the southeast-facing front roof and three on the northwest-facing rear roof

The result? A bigger nine-panel, 4.41 kWp system, with estimated annual generation increasing to 4,020 kWh — exceeding the original forecast! ⚡

The system is paired with:

🔋 10.2 kWh Solis battery storage
⚡ 6 kW Solis hybrid inverter

The customer was over the moon with the finished installation today, and we’re proud of the team for turning an unexpected setback into a better outcome. 🙌
