Just had a fascinating lunch with Matt Robb from the Great Britain —and I have to say, I was absolutely in awe of his depth of knowledge, connections, and understanding of the stone industry.

Having spent the last 20 years immersed in this industry myself, I’m always eager to talk shop, but the way Matt can cover so many aspects with insight and clarity is truly impressive. It was a privilege to sit down and discuss everything that comes with working in this trade, from its challenges to its opportunities.

I just came across this photo and wanted to take a moment to thank Matt for his time—I look forward to many more conversations in the future. I’ve only ever had passing chats at shows and watched him work an audience or a room but to now share stories over lunch was so helpful and reassuring to be on the same journey within an industry we both love

For anyone looking to feel truly connected in the stone industry, I’d highly recommend speaking with Matt. He’s someone who will be bringing people together for the next 20, 30 years.

🌟 What a Week at Oceanis Group! 🌟

Last week was a true mix of highs and lows, with moments that tested us and moments that made us proud. From a damaged work vehicle to a broken forklift and a tough budget announcement, it was challenging. We secured a large order but had to turn down another due to pricing—and we even faced a marble shipment arriving damaged. But our team pulled together, showing the resilience that keeps us moving forward.

✨ The Highlight? Attending the SBID Global Awards where Project Eighty Nine, a remarkable Rigby & Rigby ultra-luxury residential project we were selected to install, won in the Ultra Luxury Residential category! This project featured over 23 high-end natural stones, each pushed to its limit, bringing timeless beauty to every corner of the home. Grateful to be part of this journey with such a talented team.

🙌 And we’re excited to welcome Jamie Conway, our new Business Development Manager, who’s ready to join us on this journey!

Here’s to facing the challenges, celebrating the wins, and building something extraordinary every step of the way. 🚀

Friday brought a surreal moment for us! Representing Oceanis Group at the SBID International Design Awards®, where Project Eighty Nine for Rigby & Rigby won the Global Award for Ultra Luxury Property, was an incredible honor. ✨

Project Eighty Nine used the most remarkable selection of natural stone—23 high-end materials, each chosen and crafted to perfection. Collaborating on this vision was a privilege, and I’m immensely proud of the groundbreaking result. Cheers to Rigby & Rigby for entrusting us with this journey. 🎉
