🚀 Another Sapphire Completed! 🔧💙

We’re proud to announce that our team has just finished manufacturing a brand‑new Sapphire 550EB VAC autoclave — one of the largest models in the Sapphire range, built with an electric boiler and full vacuum capability for advanced air removal and reliable sterilisation performance.

This machine is a serious piece of engineering:
• 550‑litre square chamber
• MP25 controller
• Mechanically‑hoisted automatic sliding door
• Accelerated water cooling via water jacket
• Vacuum pump for enhanced air removal
• Built to PED Cat 2 standards with stainless steel 316 construction

Your Rodwell autoclave deserves expert care from the engineers who built it. A Preventative Maintenance Contract (PMC) gives you priority support, genuine Rodwell parts, and scheduled servicing that keeps your machine reliable, compliant, and performing at peak efficiency.

Our engineers attend with a Rodwell van stocked with genuine Rodwell parts, allowing most issues to be diagnosed and resolved on the same visit.

What’s Included in a Rodwell PMC?
Major Service (complete overhaul including boilers & compressors)
• Check the general condition of the machine
• Check the operation of all valves / pumps
• Clean filters
• Air break filter replaced
• Door seal replaced
• Chamber inspection
• Thermocouple probe inspections
• Boiler strip and inspection
• Clean the boiler level probes
• Remove any silt from the boiler
• Boiler gasket replaced
• Boiler bolts replaced
• Boiler nuts replaced
• Boiler washers replaced
• Door lock tested and realigned if necessary
• Door bolt greased
• Visual check of all components and pipework
• Check resistance of the heating coils
• Check the amps drawn by the heating coils
• Run a test cycle
• Check the machine for any leaks
• Raise the pressure of the boiler and chamber to lift the relief valves

Minor Service (visual inspection & safety checks)
• Check the general condition of the machine
• Check the operation of all valves / pumps
• Check door locks and realign if necessary
• Visual check of all components and pipework
• Check resistance of the heating coils
• Check the amps drawn by the heating coils
• Raise the pressure of the boiler and chamber to lift the relief valves
