You don’t have to have a ‘good health day’ to make progress in your business. And on the days your business isn’t even on your radar, that’s not falling behind either.
One of the most important shifts I’ve seen in clients, and experienced myself, is letting go of the idea that meaningful work can only happen on the easier days.
Some of the best decisions get made slowly, on the sofa, in between rest. Some of the most useful thinking happens on the days that feel hardest.
But some days, there’s no “on the sofa, thinking about it” either. Just getting through is the whole day, and the business waits. That’s not a setback. It’s what it means to build something around a body that doesn’t always cooperate.
Both of these are normal. Neither one is the problem.
What’s one thing that’s helped you let go of that idea?
