After months of speculation, the Government has confirmed that there will be 𝗻𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙-𝗚𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺.

This decision provides short-term stability, but the long-term direction of travel remains unchanged - with continued focus on transition and upskilling across the sector.

The F-Gas Register will continue engagement with Government, with further discussions already scheduled for mid-June.
