The current shopfront at 134 Walcot Street, Bath BA1 5BG. We’ve been on Walcot Street 15 years so far, 11 years at this premises. It has treated us well, and I honestly always thought I’d be buying this property one day 🤪

Get geeky and enthusiastic stationery advice, choose a fabulous fountain pen, find our beautiful letterpress stationery and calligraphy equipment, or partake in a workshop to expand your creativity. Our first workshop: Nettle Paper Making with 🍃
Tuesday 16th June, 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

In this fabulously creative workshop you’ll get to see the process of turning nettles into beautiful, textured, handmade paper.

You’ll learn how to process the fibre, blend it with recycled paper pulp and make beautiful sheets of creative paper. Using small moulds you’ll be shown how to form sheets with mould and deckle frames, with natural wheat starch sizing, along with pressing and finishing techniques.

You’ll get to experiment with ‘inclusions’, (SO FUN!) adding plant materials to your paper for variety, as well as lamination (sandwiching objects between paper) and creating stencilled shapes, plus how to manipulate the paper surface to create interesting textures.

On Paper Festival 2026 - tickets are available now! Choose from some amazing workshops, get inspired and expand your creativity.

we have 12 different workshops for you this year, including paper making, bookbinding, experimental lettering and junk journaling. Learn how to keep a sketchbook journal try carving your own stamp Inna relief Printing workshop or create beautiful wax seals.

Then join us for the Grand Fair where we’ll have over 70 independent artists, crafters, makers and stationers, with interactive activities, plus our amazing Stamp Rally. We’ll also have mini workshops throughout the day to give you a taster of creativity.

Once we know and have the keys secured we’ll be lining up dates at the new location.

Meanwhile, On Paper Festival tickets go on sale Friday 27th with main workshops held at Walcot Methodist Chapel (not to be confused with Walcot Chapel!) on Nelson Place East.

Tickets go on sale Friday 27th February at 5pm for our blooming lovely week of creativity.

We’ve got even more workshops this year, as we’re hosting the workshops at Walcot Methodist Chapel, giving us two dedicated spaces for making and learning. Be sure to check the date and time as some workshops are running simultaneously.

Then the Grand Fair will be back at Bath Pavilion, with improved lighting and air conditioning! YAY!

Our Sample Sale is this Saturday!

Over the course of the year we collect and save beautiful bits of gorgeous card and paper from our bespoke print work. Card that’s too good to recycle but too small to use for other projects. Instead, we pack them up into assorted bundles with different weights, sizes, colour and texture, so that you can get creative and enjoy some glorious papery goodness for all sorts of crafting activities.

Off-cut packs are split into three options:
Small - £5 (300g of card and paper inside)
Medium - £10 (650g)
Large - £15 (1000g)

Lucky dip bags - £5
Imperfect greeting cards - £5 for 5 cards
Assorted envelopes - £5 for 5 envelopes

Starts this Saturday 31st January, 12noon online or in store at 10am
