As we welcome in 2026, we share the news that Esther McMorris, CEO & Founder of Nine Feet Tall will be leaving this January. 🧡

Our much-loved business will continue to thrive in the safe hands of David Durrant, Managing Partner and Tiggy McCool, Partner. Esther has devoted 21 years to creating and nurturing Nine Feet Tall as a values-led consultancy, which puts its people at the heart of the organisation.

Both Dave and Tiggy are an integral part of the Nine Feet Tall’s Leadership Team and will be leading the team in the delivery of our new three-year strategy. We will continue to focus on supporting businesses undertaking complex change, specialising in large ERP implementation programmes.

Esther says: "The knowledge that Nine Feet Tall is in safe hands with Dave, Tiggy and our wider Leadership Team means I can proudly celebrate everything we have achieved to date, as I look now to my own future. I have complete confidence in their leadership, integrity, and drive to continue the success of 9FT and Talan, as we now enter an exciting new era with new market opportunities and growth.”

⚽A week ago Nine Feet Tall were playing football at Wembley. Not Wembley Stadium (just yet) but GOALS Wembley - as part of The Viridor World Cup.

🎉 Well done to our Nine Feet Tall legends: Hannah Brooks Chris Watson-Bell Michael Watson Niall Cardwell Elliot Watts and Jonathan Hobbs

We joined teams from Viridor to showcase our (slightly rusty) skills and were thrilled to reach the semi-finals. 👏 Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you to Viridor and Dominic Howson for inviting us along. 🧡

🥳Happiness really is catching up with old friends...

🧡Nine Feet Tall celebrated 20 years of orange joy with a birthday bash at Bath Cricket Club last weekend.

😊 20 years championing change, hundreds of clients, special teams and thousands of stories about memories made at Nine Feet Tall.

⭐Our CEO and Founder Esther McMorris reflected in a speech about the people and friendships who have made the journey positive, creative and inspirational. A place of work which celebrates the individuals within, and allows them to build bonds and be their true selves.

🎈 Welcoming Nine Feet Tall's team, both past and present, as well as clients, partners, suppliers and supporters made the day one in a million.

🎉 Our party shone loud and bright despite the grey skies and rain, thanks to the fantastic support of Bath Cricket Club and their event team. We raised money for Jessie May and Genesis Trust Bath through our raffle. Our beautiful cake was baked by Jen from Patisserie May, the delicious food was courtesy of Let's Go Street Food, the brilliant band were called The Hits and SuperPirates laid on games and the energy for the children.

This week, we celebrate the amazing contributions volunteers make to communities across the UK. National Volunteers’ Week is a chance to recognise and thank the incredible volunteers who make a difference in our local communities, the voluntary sector, and society as a whole 🌱

Despite six in ten organisations facing difficulties in volunteer recruitment, and almost half not seeing an increase in numbers over the past year (as reported by Third Sector), we at Nine Feet Tall are committed to supporting volunteering efforts. Each team member is entitled to take two working days to volunteer in activities that are meaningful to them. Over the years, we have proudly collaborated with NSPCC, Jessie May, Middle Ground Growers, The ITSA Digital Trust and Genesis Trust.

👀 Our vision is for volunteering to act as a platform to live our values, strengthen relationships, foster team building, and provide a positive impact on our local communities. The benefits are clear: volunteering improves physical and mental health, provides a sense of purpose, teaches valuable skills, and nurtures relationships 👐

This time last week Nine Feet Tall all got together for our April 2024 Company Day 🎇 It was jam packed with workshops, reflective tasks and even some acting!

We love having these throughout the year 🧡 it's a great opportunity to stay connected and continue to strengthen our relationships, but also an opportunity for development and insight.

Very proud of this team and all we are achieving at the moment!

P.s. yes we did get some strange looks carrying a surfboard through the centre of Bath...
