Another day, another show! It was great fun sharing on tap in Glasgow today for 🍷 Love the positive attitude hospitality has up here and the genuine interest to innovate and do something different with a focus on quality. Milly will be in Perth and Inverness next week continuing the good work!

Rounding off the week with our last day in Puglia 🇮🇹 blending 2025 vintage. We've not had the best weather but the quality across all the wines is fabulous once again. Really excited to share these in 2026 and continue to innovate with our cans and kegs. Lots of exciting things to come with the team this year! 🥂

Not long now til Christmas so I thought I would share one of my favourite bottles of sparkling wine from - Cuvée Natura from Bizeljsko in Slovenia. This delicious fizz is largely based on the 2020 vintage and is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and the golden grape of Slovenia, Rumeni Plavac. What makes it special though is it's bottled with no added sulphur, so the result is sped up development under cork, giving you those dried fruit, honey and biscuit like notes you might expect from cuvees aged decades. If you want to give it a go, you still have time to grab a bottle from or 🥂🌲 Just leave some for me!

I really enjoyed a recent Rhône valley wine dinner at our friend Tim's so I thought I'd give my two cents on the E. Guigal Cote-Rotie in his homemade cellar in a new live vid. The wine was genuinely fabulous but a bit closed off at first. It was up against some stellar bottles that evening (if you saw my stories from a recent Saturday jeez were we spoiled!). We drank this with lamb (including some very nicely done hearts, thanks James) and it was great.. picked up from for a good price too.

Absolutely delighted to see Ingrid from this evening at the AIB Christmas party in Bristol this eve! We've known each other for a few years now and it's always a pleasure to catch up. Her newly disgorged rosé fizz is delicious, too.

Hello everyone. I thought I would introduce you to our very first canned white wine we picked over five years ago: Grüner Veltliner by the Huber family in Niederosterreich, Austria. This fabulously zesty, peppery and fruity white wine has become the stalwart of our flagship range at and I wanted to tell you a little more about how we chose it and what it tastes like. Absolutely delighted to have presented No. 1 sparkling to guests at the .si Christmas gala at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall, London, yesterday evening. What a fabulous and festive event. It was an honour to close the speeches talking about great wine! It was also positive to hear how trade is growing between Britain and Slovenia and to meet some of the delegation from Ljubljana. Istenic's traditional method fizz made for a great start in the sparkling wine reception, followed by delicious food from the catering team. Thanks to Barbara and the British Slovenian Chamber of Commerce team for the invite and a delightful evening!
