Safety‑critical work needs a clear head, not a 14‑hour shift greedily squeezing every last penny out of the diary.
Case in point: a burn bar was fitted the wrong way round and fell off, the sweep in his usual fashion blocked the customers number as there's no profit in putting things right I`m getting bored of sorting these f**k ups out now.
Some sweeps rush, miss things, and hide it behind patter and polish. We don’t. Swept Away Bath works proper hours so every job gets done correctly, safely and professionally.

Did you know a pigeon can survive for up to 4 days in a chimney? Sadly this poor chap wasn`t so lucky having got trapped whilst my customer was on holiday the incense is a mark of respect - or I could be just checking the draw after sweeping out the cobwebs from the flue

Somebody's a bit miffed - to be clear those are pictures from my social media and they are spot on appropriate sealing methods for the job at hand - Glen is miffed because I called him out on claims that one day is all the training a chimney sweep needs and that a L class vacuum is just the job for soot - what do you reckon - is one days training enough to be let loose on safety critical work??

Watch out, Bath - Light duty isn`t chimney duty - when a sweep hides the L class label, its because they know it shouldn`t be any where near a chimney L CLASS = LIGHT DUTY & M CLASS = MEDIUM DUTY Soot is hazardous H CLASS = HAZARDOUS DUST An £80 L or M Class vacuum releases invisible fine soot back in to your home all to save the sweep a few quid. The sweep is protected he is wearing a mask - your the one breathing it in. At swept Away we use a specialist H Class Vacuum its over £1,000 we use it because we care about you and your loved ones much more than profit. Vacmaster do not make H class Vacuums.
