I don’t know how many times I have to tell people about the evils of putting knives in a dishwasher,but here is a pic of what happens and these are not cheap knives so surely it makes sense to keep them in pristine condition.The black dots on the knives are corrosion caused by the salts used in dishwashers,and the odd thing is that if you have a corrosion dot right on the edgeyou would imagine that going past that dot would take you into good metal but sometimes it turns out to almost be like a worm hole and results in removal of a lot of metal…..so please please please do not put your knives in the dishwasher and also pass this information on to your friends and family.
