Workshop based Plant Fitter Workshop required.
KPH Plant hire are a family business and have been supplying plant equipment to the construction industry, and across Yorkshire since 1972.
We are recruiting for an experienced plant fitter who has previous experience as a plant fitter working with in the plant hire industry.
An engineering and mechanical background is required and experience of working of Kubota Excavators, JCB Telehandlers, Thwaites Dumper, Terex Rollers is advantageous.
As a plant fitter you will be working with a team of plant fitters / service engineers within the workshop, carrying out repairs and servicing of a range of plant equipment. Parts management and ordering, working with the hire desk to ensure plant is ready to hire out. You must be a team player.
Main Duties will include:-
- Maintain and repair plant equipment from JCB Telehandlers, Kubota Excavators and Thwaites Dumpers, Terex Rollers,
- Carry out other workshop duties where required,
- High levels of service and commitment at all times,
- Parts ordering,
- Helping colleagues where required.
Benefits :-
- Salary: from £30,000 to £50,000 per year, depending on experience, + overtime

- Small works van and fuel
- Hours – Monday to Friday 6:30am – 4:30pm or 7:00 am – 5:00pm.
- Saturday 7:30am – 12:00pm – paid on overtime rate, optional or as required.
