I also specialise in pre and post natal training for those who wish to continue training through pregnancy or those who want to get strong or regain your strength following pregnancy and delivery.

Did you know combining the treatments of personal training alongside physiotherapy creates a super-charged recovery and repair process - helping the body to gain strength in those problem areas, perhaps after an injury, long standing problem or persistent ni**le. As therapists, we often work alongside each other, treating the same clients, communicating regularly, enabling us to support each other - and more importantly YOU through your recovery and repair, to build strength for life.

The lovely Jill contacted us about a pain she was having in her shoulder. After a physiotherapy assessment with Natalie, it was obvious that her issue would require manual physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the form of strengthening her shoulder stabilisers.

🖤New look, same commitment to achieving your goals!🖤

With my recent move over to I thought now would be the perfect opportunity to re-brand and re-launch. I am so excited to finally share my new look with you!

As always, I remain committed to strength and resistance training, mobility, rehabilitation and sports conditioning. I work with clients at all fitness levels and life stages, ensuring your workouts are tailored to your individual goals, lifestyle and needs.

I am also dedicated to supporting clients through their unique challenges and rewards of peri and menopause, as well as pre and post natal fitness. I know first hand how these life phases can affect our bodies and how beneficial it is to have a safe, effective and empowering training approach during these times. 

Whatever your goals are, rest assured every session is tailored to you, wherever you are and whatever you are working toward. My journey so far.

It's been a while since we have chatted about menopause. I've been continuing to learn about myself and adapt how I approach life to make it more enjoyable again. It's not a quick fix but one that requires patience and changing habits.

HRT is only part of the solution, if you choose to use it. Other improvements can be made to make the journey through this stage of our life better and easier on ourselves. Strength training, healthy movement, changes to nutrition, learning to de-stress and cutting out negativity have all been really valuable to me and have positively impacted this time of my life. Being outside more, laughing with good friends and getting enough sleep can all help too.

It’s important to remember we are all different - our development and growth through life isn't the same, so why would our symptoms and the way we handle menopause be the same? What we can all do is make simple changes to our daily routine to make life easier and more enjoyable.

Keep talking. To friends, doctors (if needed) and your partner. Our partners suffer the effects of our menopause, so it’s important to keep communications open and discuss how things are making you feel. As women it’s easy to forget a lot of the pressure we put on ourselves doesn’t necessarily come from others.

I've found what helps for me and how I can enjoy more of my life now and it's made a huge difference. Feeling like I’m in control and can put in these positive changes myself is also really empowering, when at a time so much is out of our control.

Sound familiar? I'm sure we've all been there. 

Being a Mum, wife, daughter, friend and self employed has its rewards and I love my life but, sometimes pressures of time management and small everyday problems can build up causing sleep deprivation, unclear thoughts, memory issues, and effects on our health. This in turn leaves you feeling emotionally disconnected to yourself and those around you. 

Putting that list to one side and pressing pause to allow your mind and body to reset can help massively.

Last week I felt 'mere' so decided to do what was right for me. I took a day off, picked up my book and drove to the riverside. I put my phone aside and sat reading until I was ready to leave. I didn't once look at the time.

The day after I was back working and back to my normal routine. I felt like I'd had a week's holiday, re energised and feeling myself again.

Family time is very important to me and I make time for this weekly but time alone I don't.

This is something I'm definitely going to do on a regular basis. 

I was asked why I didn't just stay at home. Home is where the never ending jobs are. I took myself out of the place. I had no interruptions, just me and my book.

Planning time for yourself may be difficult but if the jobs can be left for later or another day, prioritise your health and take that time.
