2nd Coating Chamber for Tarka! With the acquisition of a brilliant Wordentec refurbished Leybold 560. Turbo pumped, IC5 process controller, thermal source and Ferrotec 4-pot E.B.Gun, front surface heaters and glow discharge. Great platform!

High Laser Damage Threshold (LIDT) result!

Tarka Photonics knock it out of the park for Laser Damage Threshold, tested to over TWICE the Industry Standard for Plasma Assist PVD Coatings. Resilient to a level approaching 2000MW/cm2 (40J/cm2)!!

Our new plasma assisted coating system is now fully commissioned and calibrated. Evaporation of index matched Indium Tin Oxide in high vacuum for heated window applications. One of many precision optical thin films we are now offering our customers.

The Company's Directors, Graeme Jones and Mike Wilde have, between them, some 60 years experience in this field, having previously occupied a number of senior Technical roles with Optical Coating companies.
