Leavers' Day for my Daisy yesterday, along with her final exam! I think I've been feeling more emotional about it than she is 🥲

The last 12 years have flown by, and we couldn't be prouder of the beautiful, kind-hearted, and mature girl she has become ❤️

Now it's time for the next exciting chapter as she begins her journey towards becoming a hairdresser - a dream she's had since she was just 4 years old ✂️

It's going to be a very busy week, as she also has her Prom and her birthday in a few days time 🥳

Good luck, Daisy. We can't wait to see what the future holds for you ❤️🥰

Today was the turn of Ask GoTo Business Directories Milton Keynes networking at the Holiday Inn Milton Keynes - Central ☕️

It was a quieter then normal session with quite a few regulars missing, but great to see some new faces
😊

Thanks to Mark Orr for his spotlight talk on how he started out in the print industry and congrats on his 25th business anniversary 🎉

Next meet is Thursday 9th July for MK 😁

A Day in the Life of Fraz Marketing

Ever wondered what a typical day looks like when you're helping businesses grow? The truth is, no two days are ever the same!

One minute I'm creating social media content, the next I'm writing website copy, planning a marketing strategy, organising a networking event, writing a client blog or jumping on a call with a client to discuss their next big idea.

A typical day might include:

☕ Starting the day by checking emails and planning priorities.
📱 Creating and scheduling social media content.
📨 Designing and writing a newsletter for a client.
🖊️ Talking to clients about a potential blog idea.
💡 Brainstorming fresh content and campaign ideas.
📣 Helping businesses stay visible and consistent online.

One thing that remains the same every day is the goal: helping businesses attract more attention, build trust and generate more enquiries.

Marketing isn't usually about one viral post or a quick win. It's about showing up consistently, building relationships and making sure your business is seen when potential customers are ready to buy.

And yes... there's usually plenty of tea involved too! ☕

What does a typical day in your business look like?

What's Your Biggest Marketing Challenge Right Now? 🤔

If you're a business owner, what's the biggest challenge you're facing with your marketing?

- Getting engagement on social media?
- Generating website enquiries?
- Growing your email list?
- Standing out from competitors?
- Finding the time to do it all?

One thing I hear regularly is:

"I'm posting, networking and marketing, but it feels like nothing is working."

The truth is, marketing is often working behind the scenes long before you see the results.

Potential customers may be following your social media, visiting your website or hearing about your business for weeks or even months before they make contact.

That's why staying visible is so important. Every post, email, networking event and conversation helps build trust and keeps your business front of mind.

The businesses that succeed aren't always the biggest - they're often the ones that show up consistently, even when results aren't immediate.

🎪 Lessons from The Circus - On Stage and in Business

Last Friday, I had the joy of seeing Take That – The Circus Live for the opening night at St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton (where I am from) 🏟️

It was more than just a concert - it was a reminder of what it takes to create something truly unforgettable.

From the breathtaking stage design to the seamless teamwork between performers and crew, every moment was a masterclass in:

1️⃣ Collaboration – decades of working together, adapting, and supporting each other.

2️⃣ Consistency – delivering excellence night after night.

3️⃣ Connection – knowing your audience and making them feel part of the journey.

In business, just like in music, success isn’t about one big moment - it’s about the many small, intentional choices that build trust, loyalty, and impact over time 😍

Here’s to bringing a little more “showtime magic” into our everyday work. ✨

Who else is going to see the tour? I am going twice as off to London too 😁

👋 !

Can you believe we're nearly 6 months into 2026 already?

Now is a great time to ask yourself a simple question:

Are you spending your time working ON your business or just IN it?

As a , it's easy to wear every hat. But if your social media is always pushed to tomorrow, your newsletter hasn't gone out for months, or your blog ideas are sitting in a notebook somewhere, it might be time to rethink where your time is best spent...

The reality is that often comes when you stop trying to do everything yourself.

Sometimes the smartest business decision isn't doing more - it's getting support with the things:

✔️ You don't have time for
✔️ You don't enjoy doing
✔️ You know should be done, but never quite make it to the top of the list

Whether it's your social media, newsletters, blogs, or wider , outsourcing can free you up to focus on what you do best: running and growing your business.

So as we head into the second half of the year, what could you take off your plate? 🙂

It’s Thursday already… and somehow we’re nearly at the end of May. 👀

That means we’re almost halfway through the year.

So here’s the question:
Are you where you thought you’d be by now?

✔️ Hitting your goals?
✔️ Growing your business?
✔️ Staying consistent?
✔️ Making progress on those big objectives you set in January?

If the answer is yes - keep pushing. Momentum matters.

If the answer is “not quite yet” - don’t panic. There’s still plenty of time to reset, refocus, and finish the year strong.

Small actions taken consistently over the next few months can completely change your results by December.

Your mid-year check-in starts today.

What’s one goal you still want to achieve before 2026? 🤔
