👀 Is your business visible beyond social media?

Posting regularly is important, but your marketing shouldn't rely on social media alone!

Algorithms change, accounts get restricted, and let's face it… not everyone is scrolling Facebook or Instagram!

That's why it's important to have other ways to stay connected with your customers.

"Don't let a busy week become an invisible week!"

Monday arrives, your to-do list is already overflowing, clients need your attention, and before you know it, Friday is here and your marketing hasn't had a look in!

However, just because you're busy doesn't mean your business should go quiet.

Staying visible and consistent is what keeps your business in people's minds, even when you're rushed off your feet.

And it doesn't have to mean spending hours on social media, as a little planning and consistency can go a long way!

So as another busy week begins, remember to make time for your marketing too.

And if you simply don't have the time, that's where I can help!

💚 Today is World Mental Health Day 💚

I love working for myself and I’m lucky to work with some brilliant clients, but there’s one side of self-employment we perhaps don’t talk about enough…

It can be lonely.

When you work from home, you don’t have colleagues sitting next to you to have a quick chat with, share an idea, have a moan to or simply make you a cuppa! ☕

That’s one of the reasons networking has become so important to me (although I do need to do more). Yes, it’s about making connections and growing my business, but it’s also about community, friendship and having people around you who understand the ups and downs of running a business. 🫶

It’s also why I love working alongside Samantha Poole at Ask GoTo Business Directories organising the networking events and meeting so many lovely members. She’s always there championing members, promoting their businesses and offering support when it’s needed. 😍

So this , remember that sometimes a simple conversation can make a bigger difference than you realise.

👀 Your customers don’t know you’re busy…

You might be flat out behind the scenes - looking after customers, writing quotes, answering emails and tackling the never-ending admin.

But your potential customers don’t see any of that.

They only see what you share.

If you disappear online for weeks, people may assume you’re too busy, no longer trading, or simply notice a competitor who is showing up.

You don’t need to post every day, but you do need to stay visible.

And if you’re too busy running your business to keep your marketing going, maybe that’s one job you don’t need to do yourself. 😉

🍂 Hello October!

And just like that, we’re into the final quarter of 2026! 😳

So, how is your planning looking for October and the last few months of the year?

Are there things you want to do differently?

Maybe an area of your marketing that’s been pushed down the list for a little too long?

Or perhaps you know what you want to do, but finding the time to actually do it is the problem!

October is a good opportunity to look at what’s working, what isn’t and where you might need a little extra help.

You don’t have to completely overhaul your marketing, as sometimes a few small changes and a clearer plan can make a big difference.

So as we head into Q4…

👉 What are you changing?
👉 What do you want to achieve before the end of 2026?

A little bit about me…

I’m Fraz from Fraz Marketing - wife, mum to two teenagers (16 and 13), and owner of two ginger cats and a crested gecko! 🐱🦎

Outside of work, I LOVE concerts (definitely my happy place ❤️), still enjoy a good night out clubbing despite apparently being “too old”, and love travelling. I travelled around the world when I was younger and I’m determined to keep adding new countries to the list - my favourite places in the world are Sydney, Ibiza and Las Vegas. ✈️🌍

I also love extreme sports and have undertaken 4 bungy jumps, 3 skydives (photo here is from 22 years ago when I was about to skydive over the Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand), and this year in my 50th year, I undertook a Wing Walk. I thoroughly recommend this if it is on your bucket list! I would also rather jump out of a plane any day over doing my 60 seconds at networking...

Work-wise, I have 28 years experience in Marketing and currently enjoy helping SME's with their social media, blogs, newsletters, email marketing and their overall marketing direction.

One thing I talk about a lot is building your own database:

👉 You don’t own your social media audience.
👉 You do own your database.

But whatever marketing you’re doing, you need to know what you’re trying to achieve.

When someone comes to me asking for help with their socials, newsletters or blogs, I always ask:

“Do you have a marketing plan?”

Often, the answer is no.

Your socials, newsletters, blogs and website are all useful tools, but they work much better when there’s a plan behind them.

That’s why I also help businesses create simple, practical mini marketing plans - giving you a clear direction and a blueprint to follow.
