When you’re running a site, your focus is getting the job done.

Deadlines, deliveries, contractors, staff. There’s a lot happening at once.

That’s exactly why an external health and safety site visit can be useful.

At THSP, we’re not there to catch people out. We’re there to provide an experienced set of eyes on how health and safety is actually working in practice on site.

Often we see good systems already in place. Sometimes we identify small gaps or improvements that help strengthen compliance and keep things running smoothly.

A site visit is simply about helping businesses understand what’s working well and where things could be even better.

A risk assessment should reflect how your business operates today.

If staffing levels have changed, if contractors are now involved, or if your layout has evolved, your risk profile has changed too.

We often see businesses relying on assessments that no longer match day-to-day operations. That is where gaps begin to appear. A suitable risk assessment is one that reflects reality, not just policy.

If it has been some time since your last review, it may be worth revisiting.
