After a three week suspension of my account I’m relieved to be able to report I now have full access to this account once again. This goes for my personal Facebook, Messenger and Instagram accounts too.

I still don’t know why the accounts were deactivated, or why they’re now back online, I’m just pleased they are.

My Instagram account of the same name (mattwillisinteriors) seems to be a bit more secure, so you may like to follow that one in case something like this happens again on Facebook.

After a few months of a very neutral grid I finally have some colour, and it couldn’t be better!

Stunning new kitchen, diner, utility and pantry incorporating old and new whenever you look. Many trades have been involved in this one over just as many months. My involvement - the paper installation only which thanks to a really lovely customer has been a pleasure to do.

Another twist on the ever popular media wall, completed this week.

A lot has been going on in this living room recently, the final piece of the puzzle will be a new carpet before it can really be enjoyed next week.

A lot of planning and thought to get this one to where it is now. Customers wanted some marble incorporating so we decided on a mural, supplied by - installed with careful pattern placement and care, it looks just as they imagined.

New plaster was sealed and painted. Existing walls were sanded to eliminate imperfections and bring up to a standard to that of new plaster and the woodwork was sanded back, repaired, and painted using the Johnstones Aquaguard system.

Another media wall completed last week, this time with the addition of rippled MDF on the rear of the shelving areas giving the whole unit an interesting and modern twist.

Flooring, TV and fire protected, mistcoat and two coats of paint on the new plaster, with fine sanding between coats. Following a prime of the MDF and a generous amount of sanding on the rippled panels through the grits between each coat of paint, it’s all come together perfectly.

We made this one even more professional by adding a bead of silicone to the bottom of the skirting to bridge the gap and to match the rest of the room, just as it was pre build.

HALL, STAIRWAY & LANDING completed back in May when the sun was shining!

8 years on from when I first decorated this one, trends have shifted and products moved on, so a perfect area for a brand new look.

Walls, ceilings, new plaster and woodwork all sanded and prepared, including removal of carpet and preparation of treads to make way for a stunning new runner carpet from

As ever, my customer carefully considered this one and its turned out to be a stunning new entrance way, up and downstairs.

💛 BABOUCHE 💛

You know how I love a front door revamp - this one might be my favourite yet. Door and frame fully sanded, prepared, undercoated and topcoated using Otex Akva (water based grip primer) and Everal Aqua 40 (semi matt / satin).

Colour is Babouche by Farrow & Ball, matched and mixed into the products above for ultimate durability and ease of working time.

Bringing the frame in with the door colour and wrapping it around both sides of the door has made a real impact on this one, it’s also made the stained glass pop like never before!

GRAHAM & BROWN Paint and paper recently used to transform a dull bedroom into bold and lively bedroom. Their paper is always spot on for quality, ease of use and for leaving an immaculate finish on a correctly prepared wall. First time using their emulsion which was equally as impressive, excellent opacity and covered well from one 3L tin. Top marks
