Laura and Tony are two of Belfast’s leading designers who have been awarded a £2,000 Craft & Design Mentorship Bursary☺️
The bursary was awarded to 6 artists & makers across the city & is delivered by Council & CRAFT NI
The mentorship bursary supported local artists & makers to invest directly in their skills & development, pairing each recipient with an established designer or craftsperson as a mentor👏
The remaining four bursary recipients include local ceramicists Helen Faulkner & Derek Wilson, textile designer Alison Pascoe (specialising in macramé), & stained-glass artist Kerrie Hanna who has now taken up residency in Botanic Gardens.
Congratulations to all the artists -it’s important to champion the creatives who make our city so unique✨
