We are very thankful to see a happy ending to this incident but it could have been much worse!

It is important to remember that farms are a very dangerous place, especially for children. As the Health & Safety Executive in NI are pushing forward their Farm Safety campaign is there anything more we could be doing to promote safety on farms?

There is now greater incentive to follow Health & Safety Legislation with the new Fees For Intervention (FFI) scheme which charges £124 per hour for inspectors time in issuing notices/advice.
