CPR is not one size fits all.

Our Basic Life Support course for adults, children and infants runs on 30 September.

It is a Level 3 course for clinical, healthcare, childcare, the general public and sports teams, covering CPR and choking across every age group, taught by practising healthcare workers who use these skills for real.

From a GP who trained with us: "Excellent and relevant information. Dean is very experienced and able to pass that experience on."

You no longer need to leave Northern Ireland to train to this standard.

PHTLS is the trauma course trusted by emergency and prehospital teams around the world, and ProParamedics is the only place running it here, on 7 and 8 September.

Over two days you work through scene management, bleeding control, airway and breathing, and the major trauma calls, then prove it in high-pressure scenarios.

You leave with internationally recognised certification, valid for four years, and real confidence when it counts.

Places are going. Book now at proparamedics.com.

One week, three jobs.

Well done to everyone who worked on, performed at or organised the Fleadh. Congratulations must go to NIAS, St John Ambulance and the other ambulance and voluntary crews we shared the sites with, and to the stewards and event teams who kept it all moving. A big week, and a lot of people made it run.

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann came to Belfast for the first time, eight days of it, with around 800,000 people expected across the city. Our crews were on duty at the ICC and at the Park and Ride keeping the routes in and out moving.

At the same time, international cricket was at Bready for the first two ODIs of the Ireland v Afghanistan series. One washed out before a ball was bowled, one played in front of a full ground after a delayed start.

Different crowds, different risks, same standard.

The Fleadh finished yesterday. The cricket moves to Belfast this week and we go with it.

Eight days. Around 800,000 people expected in Belfast.

That is the scale of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, and a number like that changes how you plan medical cover. It is not more of the same job, it is a different job.

Crews spread across several sites rather than one. Vehicles positioned where they can actually get out of a busy city centre. Handovers between shifts so nothing gets dropped. Routes agreed with stewards before the crowds arrive.

Twenty five years of covering events in Northern Ireland gives us the experience & know-how to work events like this.

In position long before the first ball.

Our crew and ambulance are at Bready Cricket Club today for the 2nd ODI between Ireland and Afghanistan. Positioned with a clear route off the ground, kit checked, in contact with the event team.

That is the part nobody sees. Where the vehicle sits, which gate stays clear, who is on the radio, what happens if two people need help at once. Get that right in the quiet hours and the busy ones look after themselves.

International cricket, club grounds, festivals and rallies. Same standard every time.

Spirits high at Bready, even after a delayed start.

Our crew is on duty for the 2nd ODI of the Ireland v Afghanistan series, covering players, staff and spectators for the full day.

Event cover is mostly waiting. A wet outfield pushes the toss back, the overs get trimmed, and you are still standing there hours later with the kit checked and the same job to do. It takes a certain sort of person to stay sharp through that and still be in good form when the day is done.

That is the team we have. Professional when it counts, good company the rest of the time.

If you walk past us all week and never think about it, we have done our job.

That is what event medical cover looks like most of the time. A crew parked where they can move quickly. A clinician watching the crowd rather than the stage. Kit checked and ready for something that hopefully never happens.

At the Fleadh this week we are on standby across the ICC and the city centre sites, ready for anything.

Quiet is the goal. Prepared is the reason it stays that way. Does your medical partner invest as heavily into planning?

The city centre has not been this busy in years.

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is in Belfast until Sunday, and the ICC and the surrounding squares are at the heart of it. Food markets, the big wheel, street sessions, and thousands of people moving through all day.

Our crews are on duty across the city, working alongside the event teams and stewards so that anyone who needs help gets it quickly.

Big crowds need proper planning. Risk assessment, the right number of clinicians, vehicles positioned where they can actually get out, and a team who have done this for 25 years. When booking an event its essential that your medical partner can cover all bases!

It is built for paramedics, nurses, doctors, EMTs and event medics, and the certification is recognised worldwide and valid for four years.

If trauma is part of your work, this is the one to book. Secure your place at proparamedics.com.
