That is what a student put on the feedback form after a FREC 3 requalification with us in August.

Requalification is the course people expect to be a box tick. Same content, three days, sign here. It should not be. Guidelines change, equipment changes, and the point is to come out sharper than you went in, not just current.

Recent groups have specifically mentioned the new procedures and the updated equipment as the reason it was worth the three days.

If your FREC 3 is coming up for renewal, the requalification is on the site.

Introducing Trauma Teddies, supporting people living with dementia.

Comfort. Connection. Purpose.

A soft teddy can offer calming, tactile reassurance and a gentle focus for conversation. It's always person-centred: we offer, we observe and we follow the person's response.

The idea originated from the Australian Red Cross, and we launched it at our first Level 2 Dementia Awareness course.

FREC 3 runs 19 to 23 October at our Moneyreagh training centre. It is the qualification event medics, security teams and industry responders work to, and the entry point if you want prehospital care as a career.

Five days that change what you are able to do.

FREC 3 runs 19 to 23 October at our Moneyreagh training centre. It is the qualification event medics, security teams and industry responders work to, and it is the entry point if you want prehospital care as a career rather than a certificate for the file.

Taught by operational healthcare staff who are on the road the rest of the week, with hands-on time every day instead of a week of slides. Accredited by Qualsafe Awards, and the certificate lasts three years.

August's group put it better than we can: "This is one of the best courses I have completed."
