What a fantastic morning at Veterans in Business Belfast, proudly hosted at PwC UK Belfast.

A huge thank you to Pamela Ballantine MBE for doing a brilliant job as our MC and keeping the audience engaged throughout the event.

We were privileged to hear from an outstanding line up of speakers who shared powerful insights on leadership, transition and opportunity across business, policing and elite sport. Speakers included Jim Higham , Peter Dixon, Conor O'Hagan, fomer GB Athlete Stephen Feeney and former senior police chief Mark Gilmore, alongside contributions from organisations including Thales Defence Group, G4S , and policing leadership.

The room was filled with veterans, service leavers and business leaders who came together to connect, share experiences and build new opportunities. The networking and conversations in the room showed just how powerful this community is when brought together.

Northern Ireland has a significant service leaver and veteran community, and events like this help unlock the talent, leadership and resilience that already exists within it.

This was the first event in our three part Veterans in Business series, and if this morning was anything to go by, the future is very bright.

Today, on UK 999 Day, we at Connect through Service want to extend a massive thank you to all the incredible individuals who work and volunteer in our emergency services. From the NHS to the police, fire, ambulance, and search and rescue teams, your courage, dedication, and selflessness keep our communities safe every single day.
