KINDA CHIC…When a trend reminds you that you are a trailblazer.

The person who opened the first dedicated staging business in your country, the one who did the hard yards persuading agents that staging was an essential service and demonstrating to clients that it could add tens of thousands to their sale prices.

I grew a whole industry by building a business out of nothing whilst going through a divorce and raising three teenagers alone. I created the demand for a service that really didn’t exist for the average seller.

DESTAGING… When you go into a property at the end of the staging hire period and remove all the furniture and decor items, leaving the property empty and ready for the new owner to move in.

This is an important part of the process. Some people assume that you have to buy all the furniture from us for staging, which would make the process very expensive and you could be left with lots of big items that your buyer doesn’t need but that isn’t how staging works.

We walk through your property, assessing the space and select everything to provide a coherent design scheme that will showcase your property to best appeal to potential buyers. We supply and fit everything, within 24 hours and hire typically lasts for six to eight weeks which is usually more than enough time to secure a sale.

At the end of the hire period we remove everything, leaving the property ready for the buyer to move in. No moving heavy furniture around for you, no need to make beds or set tables- we handle it all.

FLIPPING GORGEOUS! When a space just speaks to you and whispers in your ear- “please open up this wall and give me sexy black crital barn doors!”

Yes, honestly I do feel like old houses just speak to me and tell me what to do with them. We are nearly finished with this flip project. Unusually for me, I will be holding on to this one and renting for a while because I have plans to build a newbuild in the garden.

RECORD BREAKER… When a simple two bedroom property increases in value from the pre-staging estimate by £50,000 from £150,000 to reach offers over £200,000. That’s a pretty impressive return on investment considering the cost of staging was around £2,000.

AFTER & BEFORE…

This stunning property recently sold after we staged it for sale. I always feel a bit guilty on Destaging day when we remove all our lovely furniture and decor pieces and the house goes back to being empty. It feels like when you see behind the curtain in a magic trick and realise that the magician hasn’t disappeared at all but is just hiding.

It’s a beautiful house, all ready for its new owner to come along and sprinkle a little magic of their own and hopefully our design and staging will have provided a little inspiration.
