Martina graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 1998. She has worked in private practice from 2002. Before starting her signature clinic, Martina was a dentist at Lisburn Road Dental and Implant Clinic where she pursued a special interest in orthodontics and advanced facial aesthetic procedures. With a holistic approach to teeth straightening, she practises early interceptive treatments in young children designed to encourage normal jaw development and prevent extractions. For adults whose confidence is hampered by misshapen teeth, she believes in an orthodontic solution to every individual's situation. Martina treats relapsed orthodontic issues for adults and offers cosmetic solutions such as the 'Inman Aligner and invisible aligners. Martina has been performing injectable procedures for almost 10 years. She has treated thousands of faces and strives to achieve a natural look for her patients. This patient’s smile transformation began with braces to straighten the teeth and correct their bite, followed by whitening and composite bonding across six upper teeth. 🦷

Before treatment, the overcrowding of the lower teeth and the patient’s bite were contributing to wear along the edges of the upper teeth. By correcting the alignment first, we could help prevent further wear before carefully restoring the damaged edges with composite bonding.

The result is a straighter, healthier smile designed to last.

This case is a perfect example of why we often recommend alignment before composite bonding—to protect both the natural teeth and the longevity of the bonding.
