People often ask me “do I miss it?”
Honestly, I really don’t think about it, so no.
I spent 24 years traveling around the US, Canada and Europe, riding and training amazing horses and riders, including riding horses for 5 Olympians, and 2 riders who have been number 1 in the world. Horses that cost millions,and even 1 the owner was offered a blank cheque for.
My riders were extremely successful, riding for the US team throughout Europe, and competing in the World Cup Finals. Holding the record for the youngest rider to win a class in the international ring at Spruce Meadows, winning a big class at Madison Square Gardens, and spending a summer training a young horse for the 5yr old US Finals who won.
My knee injury brought an end to my riding, but it also brought me home, and for that I am very thankful.
No regrets and no dwelling on the past. Keep looking forward for the next adventure 😁
