This week marks Ellie Rowley's 6-year anniversary with Talk Staff!

Six years is a fantastic milestone, and Ellie has been a huge part of the Talk Staff team during that time, working as part of our Commercial Division and supporting both our clients and candidates along the way.

Over the past six years, Ellie has built fantastic relationships, developed her knowledge and experience, and continues to be an important part of the team.

Today we’re celebrating!

Today marks Lizzie’s 2-year anniversary with Talk Staff!

Lizzie has worked tirelessly during her time with us, supporting both candidates and clients as part of our Legal Support team.

She originally joined Talk Staff two years ago in our Commercial Support team before moving across to Legal Support, where she has made tremendous progress and continues to go from strength to strength.

And, of course, we couldn’t forget to mention the humour and wit she brings to the office, it definitely wouldn’t be the same without you, Lizzie!

The weather has certainly started to turn cooler and wetter around our offices recently!

But that hasn’t stopped our Office Manager from keeping a close eye on the street from his favourite window.

Although, it seems even he has his limits…

These days, the street patrol is being carried out from the comfort and warmth of his blanket!

That’s a wrap on another National Payroll Week!

It’s been a busy one for the Talk Staff team, and this afternoon the Payroll team and wider Talk Staff team took a well-earned break for a little downtime together.

With the weeks ahead starting to build towards another busy payroll period, it was good to take a moment, step away from the screens and enjoy some time together as a team.

Payroll can be busy behind the scenes, so it’s important to make time to celebrate the people who make it happen too!

A big thank you to our fantastic Payroll team for all their hard work, and to all our clients and partners who have helped make another National Payroll Week a great one.

It’s National Payroll Week!

We’ve been a little quieter than usual on social media recently, but there’s a very good reason, the team has been busy celebrating National Payroll Week and, just as importantly, getting on with what we do best… processing payroll!

National Payroll Week is a great opportunity to recognise the unsung heroes behind every payslip. Payroll is one of those professions where, when everything runs smoothly, the work behind the scenes can often go unnoticed.

But behind every accurate and timely payslip is a team of people making sure the details are right, deadlines are met and employees get paid correctly.

So, this week, we want to celebrate our fantastic Talk Staff Payroll team.

A little payroll change to keep an eye on!

It might feel like April 2027 is ages away, but we all know how quickly the payroll calendar catches up with us!

The Plan 1 student loan threshold is increasing to £28,005 from April 2027, which could mean changes to deductions for some employees.

Although Angela's birthday was actually yesterday, today she's enjoying a well-deserved birthday day off to celebrate in style. 🥳

As our HR, Payroll & Operations Administrator, Angie is the person who keeps so much of Talk Staff running smoothly behind the scenes. From supporting our payroll and HR services to ensuring compliance, looking after our clients, and making sure everyone gets paid accurately and on time, she plays a vital role in everything we do.
