I showed Bangor University international student and his lecturer around this site in North Wales yesterday. We worked out a new low carbon low design to modify this weir to meet NRW licensing requirements using less materials and almost NO concrete at all! We're really pleased with the result.

You can see the colour of the water as the silt on the inside of the pipe became dislodged.
