Tickled pink to be officially recognised by Apple Music ‘The Engineers’ series, celebrating the people behind the scenes who help shape the sound of your favourite music. 🙏

Mega thanks to everyone who’s worked with me over the past 16 years: Artists, Labels, Producers, Mixers, A&R, Teams, Management. As an independent engineer, trusting me to master your music means everything.

Let me know if there’s anything you’d like a few behind-the-scenes insights on, and I’ll get a few posts going.

Excited to add more of your amazing music to this!

Over the past 20 years, I’ve strived to build a reputation of excellence by consistently delivering masters people can trust, and a service people can rely on.

It hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve always made sure to keep it fun, and focused on the music.

Every detail matters. Decisions are made with care, experience, and intention. Following the music and respecting the mix, while highlighting what makes it connect, is paramount to my mastering work.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey, supported my business, and continues to amaze with their skill and creativity.

Seeds are planted, and I’m excited to see what comes next…

After a year in development, Peak Tamer is finally here.

The idea was simple: find a way to automate the kind of gain envelopes mastering engineers have been drawing by hand for years, so they could be used in a fast, reliable and recallable way.

The development turned out to be rather less simple. Even with my background in DSP, finding the right approach to get it up to my mastering standards was a serious challenge - but also a ton of fun!

I'm super proud of where it ended up, excited to see where it goes from here, and I'm looking forward to seeing how other engineers use it.
